We areProducer of great wines
Roccia Rossa is a craft winery located in Northern Piedmont with the office and cellar based in Brusnengo and vineyards in Villa del Bosco, right at the foothills of the Monte Rosa in the provinces of Biella and Vercelli. It was established in 2011 by Galliano Boscolo, who fell in love with the traditional vine cultivation in this area.
By purchasing some vineyards in “La Pianella” area, he marked the start of a venture aimed at bringing light on the extraordinary qualities of the Nebbiolo grape and the indigenous varietals. Despite being relatively young, Roccia Rossa is increasingly gaining acclaims both nationally and abroad for the finesse and elegance of its wines.

Our Philosophy
At Roccia Rossa we pursue a simple yet effective philosophy: we strive to make the most of indigenous vines in order to produce wines that are true reflection of the territory of Northern Piedmont, as well as ambassadors of our terroir all over the world.
Our Technique
From the vineyard to the bottle, our techniques include the green harvest to enhance the quality level of each vintage. The grapes are manually harvested and further selected once they arrive in the cellar. The vinification follows criteria fused between tradition and modernity, with rigorous temperature controls and refinements in large oak or steel vessels, so as to keep the varietal characteristics of each vine as pristine as possible.
Green Practices
In the vineyard we have banned the use of weed killers by manually mowing the grass and leaving the lawn cuttings on the ground. Periodic treatments are primarily based on sulfur and copper, implementing systemic treatments below the threshold of the minimum allowed. In the cellar we only use selected yeasts .
